Making Money?

I was inspired by a Singaporean YouTuber who shared his experience of making money online. One of his income streams comes from option trading, which earns him approximately $6000 per month. He claimed that learning option trading wasn't too difficult.

However, as I listened to his video on how he made money through options, I couldn't help but see it as a form of betting. It seemed like a game where you bet on the price going up or down, hoping for the outcome you predicted. Initially, it appeared complicated, but with enough time and practice, it might become easier to grasp.

The YouTuber mentioned that it took him a few months to make it profitable, and it seemed like a feasible way to generate additional income. However, it also carried a certain level of risk. He acknowledged that he played options fully aware of the potential to lose money.

When I shared this with my wife, she expressed her concern that profiting from options trading might involve benefiting from others' losses.

Her perspective struck a chord with me. I didn't feel comfortable earning money knowing that it was at the expense of someone else's loss.

Viewing options trading in this way made me realize that it resembles a win-lose betting game. I have always sought a win-win situation where both parties benefit.

This new perspective has helped me understand how I should explore avenues of making money.

First and foremost, it has to be lawful and ethical. I want to engage in activities that align with legal and ethical standards.

Additionally, I prefer a win-win scenario where both sides benefit, either through the exchange of products or services.

It would be ideal if the income generated could be passive, allowing for steady and consistent earnings.

Lastly, I am interested in exploring opportunities that involve monthly usage or subscription models, as they can provide stable and recurring income.

So for now, I will be building my personal brand through this website and eventual YouTube. At the same time keeping my eyes open for opportunities to build other sources of income.
